Twin Missions International, as well as our mission-site partner, World Reach, require all members to be up to date on vaccines, in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (https://www.cdc.gov/). This is for your protection. Your primary-care physician should be able to tell you which vaccines you need, but for your convenience, we have listed them for you below:
•For travelers to Peru, the CDC recommends that all travelers be up to date on routine vaccines before every trip. These vaccines include measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine, diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis vaccine, varicella (chickenpox) vaccine, polio vaccine, and your yearly flu shot. In addition, the CDC recommends travelers be up to date on Hepatitis A and typhoid vaccines.
•According to the CDC, for the areas where we will be traveling in Peru, malaria and yellow-fever-prevention medications or vaccines are NOT necessary.

This trip is jam packed with ministry and medical opportunities! We will be serving the local church through various ministry activities for all ages, as well as setting up mobile medical clinics in the surrounding communities. We provide healthcare, eyeglasses, a food bank, clean-water solutions, and more!
